Due to laziness I don’t have one of those nifty little gadgets that help you to turn things inside out. I have used one though, and they are very nifty. But using a chopstick also works…

Anne Liese has put together a great page for making lady hakama for the Heian jidai. Her kosode pattern is also very good. The instructions for the hakama are clear and there are drawing which always make it easier to follow.
